CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - A homeowner says a tree is bringing down utility pole wires, and no one wants to fix it.
Ray Garcia says he has called the city, A.E.P., AT&T and the cable companies, but they all say it's not their problem.
"Eventually something is going to happen. It's either going to fall and damage something, and then somebody will be out here to do something about it. But why take a chance on something like that happening," Garcia said.
So whose problem is it? Today Action 10 tried to find out.
The tree causing the problems lies outside Garcia's fence, so it's obviously not in his property. So we called the city, and the city pointed the finger at A.E.P.. After checking the lines, A.E.P. said it may be Time Warner Cable. However, Time Warner has not returned our calls.
"I'll get it done if I see that nobody's going to come out here to do it. I'll have to do it myself. That's the only thing I can think of," Garcia said.
Action 10 will continue to track down the owner of the lines, and when we find out who is responsible we'll let you know.
