CORPUS CHRISTI - Well we started off the day a bit chilly as the winds calmed down just in time before sunrise to drop temperatures into the upper 60s for about an hour or so. Despite that, we warmed up quite nicely this afternoon into the middle 70s with a drastic improvement in the wind department as they were out of the northwest around 10-20mph with a few clouds, mainly sunny skies around the city of Corpus Christi, that moved into our northern counties.
Tonight, there will be a few clouds lingering overhead, still looking for mostly clear skies and mainly light winds around 5-10mph out of the south-southeast. Temperatures will fall into the middle to upper 40s inland with some lower 50s along the coast.
Wednesday will be warmer than today with a few more clouds as another cold front is expected to move through during the afternoon between 3-5PM. It will also pick up the winds briefly out of the northwest to breezy levels around 15-30mph with some isolated gusts a bit higher than that possible. They will not last long though and should begin to relax as we head towards the early evening hours. No rain is expected with the front as it should sweep the area dry.
Chilly mornings are in store Thursday and Friday morning as temperatures should once again fall into the 30's and 40s with afternoon highs only in the upper 60s to lower 70s. The weekend still looks very nice with sunny skies and near seasonal temperatures.
Have a great day!
