CORPUS CHRISTI - About one hundred area students are learning some engineering skills this summer at Del Mar College. The children, ages 12-16 years old, are enrolled in a pre-freshman engineering class there.
For the past few weeks they've worked hard to build their own robots in order to put them to the test against their fellow classmates' creations.
The basic goal of the contest is to disable your opponent's robot and keep yours running for the longest period of time.
