Sunny & very hot with record tying high expected today. High: 101. Today's record high 101 was set in 1989. Heat Index: 108. Wind: SE 10-20mph.

Mostly clear & warm overnight. Low: 76. Wind: SE 2-6mph.
Lots of sunshine and heat this week as the dry upper level high pressure stays in control. It gets a bit breezy again Thursday.

The dry high moves a little off of us and allows a few isolated showers to pop up Sunday.

Partly cloudy Monday with a stray shower possible.

We're keeping an eye on the tropical disturbance in the Atlantic Ocean moving west 10-15mph.

The tropical disturbance associated with an area of low pressure located about 1000 miles east of the southern Windward Islands
continue to show signs of organization.

The atmosphere is favorable for gradual development of this low.

This system has a high chance (60%)of becoming a tropical depression during the next 48 hours as it moves westward at 15 to 20 mph.
