CORPUS CHRISTI - Mark Anthony Ramirez, 18, is now in the Nueces County Jail charged with the latest homicide in the Corpus Christi.
Police say statements from witnesses as well as forensics information collected from the January 20th murder of Michael Sandoval lead them to Ramirez.
Officers arrested Ramirez at the same Windsor Drive address where they tracked down a vehicle connected to the killing.
According to police Sandoval was found unconscious in his garage apartment and later declared dead. The Nueces County Medical Examiner's office says Sandoval likely died from a severe beating that caused severe head trauma.
Ramirez is being held on a charge of first degree murder with a $100,000 bond.
