CORPUS CHRISTI - You may have seen ads for these raspberry ketones, a supposed "miracle in a bottle" that helps you shed those unwanted pounds.

The product was even featured on the Dr. Oz Show back in February.

Well, according to two professors at Del Mar and TAMUCC, the studies don't go all the way. They both say that the product was never tested on humans, only lab rats.

And even still, those rats were fed 2% of their own body weight of the ketones in order to get them to "lose weight."
Just to be clear, if you're a 200 pound man, that would mean you would have to eat nearly 4 pounds of this supplement a day in order to get the same results as the lab rats.

Make sure to tune in tonight at 6pm for more on this hyped up product that may do all it claims.
