CORPUS CHRISTI -- A quick trip to the post office on Lamont off of Everhart Road is an errand plagued with potholes for some.
There's a sign alerting drivers they may need to stop for pedestrians crossing, but nothing warns them of crater sized potholes on the way out.
Driver Cynthia Howard told us its her nearest post office, so she's admittedly a little too accustomed to the bumpy battle on the way out from the errand. She puts up a good fight, but like most drivers, her tires end up dipping through some of them.
It's not just a problem for the people at the post office, though, Lamont Street also leads to a residential area and there are many people who live in this area who have to drive through these potholes every day.
"You can look out and see," said CD Colwell, "there's too many."
We took the pothole patrol through it, too. The area right in front of the post office exit is the worst. "Mainly right here," pointed out Mario Ortiz, who wants it fixed, now. "Like today," he told us.
