CORPUS CHRISTI -- Jacob Jones began his trip back home for the holidays learning to avoid this hazard on Matteson Street in front of his parents house.
"Right in front of the house, its very inconvenient when you have friends over and stuff like that," Jones told us.
He needed no introduction to the problem, the noise from someone else driving over the hole was enough to alert him of the hazard in the road. "He just rolled through it and it sounded like he hit a mailbox or something," Jones said.
Neighbors say the road just isn't wide enough, making that pothole even more difficult to avoid. "They need to widen it, its just a super small road getting a bunch of potholes in it like this," Jones explained.
He's hopes a crew will come by and fill the hole before his next trip home, because avoiding this bump is not how he likes to spend his break. "Definitely something to avoid in the road," Jones said.
