Outlet Malls Coming To Robstown

ROBSTOWN -- Local outlet shoppers shouldn't have to travel all the way to San Marcos to get deals in the next couple of years.

According to an email from Nueces County, Judge Loyd Neal will make an announcement on Monday about an agreement to bring the country's newest outlet mall to Robstown.

It will be called "The Outlets at Corpus Christi Bay".

The mall will be located at Interstate 69 and Highway 44.

Some of the shops expected to be part of the outlet include Banana Republic, Nike, Ann Taylor and the Gap.

Ground breaking should happen in the Spring of 2013.
