Obama Will Ask Congress to Act

WASHINGTON (AP) - Democrats are hoping President Barack Obama will get tough today when he reminds Congress that it'll have to make a decision soon in order to avoid automatic spending cuts and tax increases in January.
Obama has been pushing for a plan that would mean higher tax rates for upper-income earners, but Republicans have resisted.
