NCAA Football: Javelinas Sign 35, Handful of Local Talent

KINGSVILLE, TEXAS - When the dust finally settled on National Signing Day, the Texas A&M-Kingsville football program came away with 35 signees with the prospect of a few more trickling in the next few days.
"It's been a lot of fun and hard work," said head coach Bo Atterberry. "We have brought in a good group of guys and that we believe fit in well with the school."
Atterberry mentioned in an interview that his staff attempts to bring in players at every position to create great competition in practice. This year the focus was on the offensive and defensive lines and the defensive secondary.
Spring practice begins on February 14 and culminates in the Spring Football Game on March 8 at 7 p.m. in Javelina Stadium.
