CORPUS CHRISTI -- A pooch wash and other fundraisers helped a local group bring in more than $2600 for the city's first ever dog park.
On Saturday a group of volunteers washed dogs for a donation.
The same group held other fundraisers the past couple months.
The city donated a piece of land at Bill Witt Park.
But, the group needs to build the dog park which will cost around $25,000.
