Man Arrested at Gunpoint after High Speed Chase

CORPUS CHRISTI - A high speed chase on N.P.I.D. ended with a man being arrested at gunpoint this afternoon.

State Troopers spotted a black motorcycle heading south on Hwy 44 going 150mph.

Authorities chased 29-year-old Shern Byron down to Greenwood and then back onto the freeway.

He finally ran out of gas and skidded across the median onto the access road near Agnes.

Byron faces charges of evading arrest and reckless driving.
