CORPUS CHRISTI- Our Spring-Like weather is in full retreat as a potent cold front and a lingering upper level disturbance will keep temperatures well below normal all of next week. Clouds will prevent freezing temperatures but temperatures will be chilly at night and cool during the day. We will also see significant rain this weekend with many areas receiving between .50 and 1.00" of rainfall. We also have another shot of rain Wednesday and Thursday of next week as well.
Today will start out very mild with fog then numerous showers and thundershowers likely later in the morning near frontal passage, expect a high near 70 near noon then temperatures falling into the 50's by early evening.
Tonight we will have a few sprinkles otherwise windy and much colder with a low of 48 and wind chills in the upper 30's after midnight.
Super bowl Sunday will be blustery with a cold rain likely windy and unseasonably chilly and a high of only 51!
The rain ends but the temperatures drop into the low 40's Sunday night with a wind chilly in the 30's.
Stay warm and enjoy the rain and your weekend.
