CORPUS CHRISTI - The Department of Public Safety has once again increased the reward for a Corpus Christi man wanted for drug possession and failure to appear in court.

Javier Morin, Jr., 39, is believed to have family in Corpus Christi. Authorities say he is affiliated with the Texas Syndicate gang.

He was first listed as a most wanted gang member by Corpus Christi Police in November of 2009.

He has tattoos of a joker on the outside of his upper left arm; a demon, female and angel on his upper right arm; "Ariel" on the back of his neck; "Javier Morin" on his upper back; and "Texas" on his lower back.

The reward for his capture has been increased by $5,000. Information leading to his arrest could lead to a reward up to $12,500.

Crime Stoppers hotline: 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
