Impatient Driver Arrested After Honking at Police

CORPUS CHRISTI - A man who was in a hurry to get out of the parking lot of a local nightclub found himself on the fast track to jail.

Just before 2 a.m. Wednesday morning police were arresting someone for public intoxication at a nightclub on the 4600 block of Everhart.

A man identified as 39 year old Marc Krause drove up behind the officers in the parking lot and began honking his horn and yelling at the officers to get out of the way.

One of the officers told Krause to drive around them but Krause refused.

When officers approached Krause they discovered he was intoxicated.

Krause was arrested on a DWI charge.
