CORPUS CHRISTI - The Hammerheads are in the midst of undergoing a make-over as the teams is reportedly in the process of joining its third league in as many seasons.
They have gone from the IFL, to the SIFL, and now are expected to join the LSFL ( Lone Star Football League ). While this is not official Joe Kramer who owns part of the team is the man behind the LSFL.
Meanwhile long time owner Chad Dittman has relinquished his power to Kramer, telling me that he will still help out with the team, while Kramer will make all decisions for the Hammerheads.
The two owned the Houston Stallions, and Rio Grande Magic last season along with the Hammerheads. Dittman still owns a team in Laredo, which he will continue to control.
A press conference to officially announce these changes is expected by the week's end. Again nothing is official, but this information comes from members of the Hammerheads team and staff.
