Garbage Truck Driver Killed in Fall Identified

CORPUS CHRISTI - Officials with Corpus Christi Disposal have identified 62-year-old Rodolfo Calderon as the employee who died after falling off the top of his truck near Gregory yesterday.
San Patricio County officials say the man climbed on top of the garbage truck when the forks became entangled in some low hanging wires.
Calderon tried to get the lines off the truck himself, but fell to the pavement.
He was with the disposal company for 23 years.
