CORPUS CHRISTI - A few adults had to be evacuated from their home after a small fire broke out early Monday morning.
It happened just after 3:00 a.m. on the 300 blk. of Chenoweth.
The fire started underneath the house after some electrical wires under the kitchen floor shorted out.
It only took fire fighters ten minutes to get the fire under control.
Only a ten by ten foot area was damaged.
The three adults in the home were safely evacuated. They'll be staying with friends until they get their house repaired.
