Drug Raid at Southside Home Play Video

CORPUS CHRISTI - Two men are facing charges after a drug raid at a home on the city's south side.

D.P.S. and C.C.P.D. raided a home on the 1900 blk. of Toben around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

Inside they found an undisclosed amount of methamphetamines, a small amount of marijuana, a shot gun, and an assault rifle.

The drugs were found in a bedroom.

Authorities searched the home for about five hours to make sure they had found everything. They discovered that a van that had a hidden compartment inside the wheel well, possibly used to attempt to sneak drugs past Border Patrol checkpoints.

No word on what charges the two men are facing.
