Dragon NaturallySpeaking voice-recognition software

From the Editors of The Geek Weekly

Dragon has really helped me out a lot. I have a reading difficulty. For the first time in my life, I can write letters and emails myself by talking into a microphone hooked up to my computer. I also use the software to fill out forms. It’s fantastic! I use Dragon all the time, so much so that I have worn out my microphone.

It took me about an hour or so to get set up. I read text out loud to Dragon. Also, a useful exercise is to make up a short story and look for mistakes. Then you can run the software’s correction feature so Dragon can learn which words are which. After that, you’re ready to dictate to Dragon and have it type and write for you.

I would definitely recommend it to others like me.
