CORPUS CHRISTI - The Pothole Patrol takes a ride just out of town near West Guth Park. One resident on Daisy Street says the road through her neighborhood is in lousy condition and wants to see some improvement.
Jeanne Anthony has called this house on Daisy home for the last several years.
"I notice them every single day, several times a day. When I'm in an out, going to the store or out with me step kids," said Anthony.
It didn't take long to locate the pothole she was talking about, one at Japonica and Red Bud is about 2 and a half feet across and about an ankle deep. But it wasn't the only one.
She says her road is in some serious need of repair, and it's made driving more perilous when she goes out.
"There's several potholes, It's like, maneuver to the right, and then to the left, to try and avoid them," she said.
She called our station after she had seen other editions of Pothole Patrol, in hopes that we could get to the bottom of it.
"Very frustrating. It just amazes me that they've been here this long," she added.
We called Andy Leal with the city's Street Operations and he told us that crews would be paying the area a visit within a few days.
A fact that Jeanne says has been a long time coming.
"Honestly, I can't remember the last time our streets were done. So, we're due," Anthony said, laughing.
