CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- On the 3700 block of Dalraida, a man told police he returned home from work just after 1:30 in the afternoon and discovered his house alarm had been triggered. He then saw 47 year old Jesse Jimenez walking out of the house carrying a case of CDs and a jar of coins. When Jimenez refused to stop, the man followed him down the street. Police say Jimenez had cuts to his wrists from breaking in through a glass door. He was arrested.

On the 7000 block of Premont, a woman says she was laying in bed when she heard the bedroom window screen being torn. About that time, a young man stuck his head inside and tried to crawl in. She screamed and he ran away -- along with another male who was standing nearby. Both suspects are believed to be Hispanic teens, and were last seen running through the Foxfire Condominiums.

Witnesses near the 3200 block of Morgan reported seeing a speeding truck hit two parked cars before coming to a stop. Police contacted the driver, 31 year old Juan Luis Hernandez, and arrested him on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He refused the field sobriety tests. After being checked out at the hospital, Hernandez was taken to the CDC.
