Local Man Escapes Hostage Situation in Algeria

CORPUS CHRISTI - KZTV Action 10 News has confirmed, a local man, is among the people who were taken hostage, at a BP gas facility, in Algeria.

We are still working on getting details on this story, but we do know the man did escape the attackers.

We spoke to a family friend who says the man is nervous, but otherwise unharmed.
