Alice Police Chief To Retire

Alice Police Chief Announces Retirement Plans

ALICE - Alice Police Chief Daniel Bueno will be stepping down at the end of the year.

The chief made the announcement during a city council meeting Wednesday night.

He tells 6 News he wants to spend more time with his family and may also get into politics.

Chief Bueno's last day will be December 31st.

He has been with the Alice Police Department for 35 years, 12 of those as chief of police.
