Unique Local Television & Internet Sales Opportunity
Unique opportunity for a talented media sales professional to sell across the 3 platforms of TV, Internet and mobile. There are 7 media properties among those 3 platforms; NBC, CBS, Telemundo, KDF (local independent with NBA-Spurs, NFL-Cowboys & Texans, syndication, news, etc.), CW-South Texas; 2 TV websites. This is the only configuration of 7 multi-media platforms under one sales organization in the nation. Our South Texas leading news organization produces over 35 hours of local news each week.
The ideal candidate must possess new business and developmental skills in television and Internet sales.
This is an excellent growth opportunity for the individual who wants to grow and succeed through hard work and dedication. This is the ideal challenge for a sales person who thrives in a team environment under an encouraging and creative management team. The compensation is draw/commission with excellent benefits including health insurance and 401K.
Solid references and a strong history of sales performance is critical and must be demonstrated on the resume.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Applicant must be proficient with word, excel, power point and computer technology. Ability to relate well with advertisers and fellow employees is a must. College degree preferred. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Proof of vehicle insurance coverage; Drug testing is required.
