    ROCKPORT, Texas (AP) - Leaders of a South Texas county battered by Hurricane Harvey plan to build a new courthouse to replace the more than 60-year-old structure destroyed by the storm. The Aransas County Commissioners Court on Friday approved seeking a request for qualifications for architectural services. It's part of the process to design and build a new courthouse in Rockport, a city of about 10,000 located 30 miles northeast of Corpus Christi.

    A federal grand jury in Oklahoma has indicted a 63-year-old man accused of kidnapping his stepdaughter and holding her captive for 19 years in Mexico and elsewhere while fathering her nine children. Henri Michelle Piette is accused of kidnapping Rosalynn Michelle McGinnis in 1995 or 1996 and traveling with the intent to have sex with her, according to an indictment a grand jury in Muskogee, Oklahoma, handed up Wednesday.
