    Five years ago, King high school had a thousand more students enrolled than it does today:  but that has not prevented the Mustang football stampede from making progress. The program will carry 60 players on varsity and then have 2 freshmen team and a junior varsity team.

    The tiny private school of John Paul II has created quite the buzz around town as they look to change the culture of previous years.

    The Centurions have not won a district game in 5 years which isn't shocking since their district is composed of established Houston schools. However, new head coach and athletic director, Andrew Leon says that teaching the team to believe in themselves is critical if they are to have any success.
