    (AP) - A 27-year-old Houston Fire Department employee has been arrested on a charge of sexually assaulting a child. The Harris County Sheriff's Office says Brandon Ramirez met the girl online, sent sexually explicit photos and videos of himself to her over weeks and then met her in person for a "sexual encounter."

Police in Kirby, an enclave of San Antonio, say officers found the man on the driveway outside a home bleeding from cuts to his neck, face and hands and found his 39-year-old stepfather with a machete inside the garage at the home.
