    A portion of Alameda is closed this morning while crews continue to make repairs to a water main break, according to city officials.  Michael Olivarez, water superintendent with the city, said a 16 inch transmission line broke around 3 a.m. Thursday.     Port Aransas Police are trying to figure out how a local woman drowned. According to police, someone found 38-year old Jennifer Greene's body Wednesday afternoon in the surf near the jetties. When paramedics arrived, they administered C.P.R. several times but she was unresponsive. Port Aransas Police Chief Scott Burroughs said Greene owned a taxi cab company in Port Aransas and was well known in the community.

Bridger says the plane landed safely and was towed to a hangar for inspection.
