| Jennifer was born in Lubbock, Texas, and raised in South Texas where she graduated from Sinton high school in 1998. Jennifer attended Del Mar College where she completed the Radio & Television program. Jennifer worked several different jobs before joining the Action 10 News Team, including disc jockeying for a small Tejano radio station in Beeville, Texas.
Jennifer started her career with KZTV in July of 2004, when she began editing tapes and controlling studio cameras as an operations intern. She was quickly promoted to Associate Producer for the Daybreak morning show and, shortly thereafter, began contributing to health reports and segments then known as "Safe Family Reports". In the fall of 2004, Jennifer became a Weekend Reporter, where her responsibilities included weekend planning, reporting, and producing. In the spring of 2005, Jennifer was promoted to Weekend Anchor and began co-anchoring the Sunday night news. Now, Jennifer is the full time 6PM & 10PM Show Anchor, though she continues to fill in reporting and producing in the afternoons. Jennifer and her husband, Chris, were married in October of 2005 and currently live with their two dogs in Corpus Christi. In her spare time, Jennifer visits her parents, who live in Papalote, Texas, and enjoys hanging out with her two older sisters.
