Gabe Caggiano
| Before joining KZTV, Gabe Caggiano worked in Washington DC as a freelance producer for "Inside Edition" and as an on air reporter for WRC and WJLA. Gabe also wrote a weekly political column for a DC area newspaper. In 2003, Gabe was the White House Correspondent for Dubai-based MBC 2, which also owns the Al Arabiya network. MBC 2 was the first Middle East news organization to broadcast in English. In 1996-97, Gabe worked in Austin for KTBC as their political reporter covering President Bush when he was governor. Gabe also worked with Tom Brokaw in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm when Gabe was with the NBC affiliate in San Antonio in 1990-1993.
In his free time, Gabe likes to write songs and play the guitar. Gabe recently produced a CD of his own music which is in the style of Tom Petty and Willie Nelson. Gabe also enjoys working out and is an avid sailor. |
